Nashville, Nov 1, 2009 – StatTV, the revolutionary new way to showcase your team stats, scores, and team branding to the media was officially launched at the University of Tennessee on Sept 7th. StatTV plays on 16 LCD screens in the press box at Neyland Stadium and was operational for the home opener against Western Kentucky.

"At the University of Tennessee, delivering stats—that are as close to real-time as possible—to the various media covering the game is tremendously important," said Bud Ford, Associate AD for Media Relations. "StatTV from StatView helps us broadcast those stats and really adds to the overall experience in the press box at Neyland Stadium."

About StatTV: StatTV is a new technology from StatView that creates a high-definition cable channel for use in press boxes at football stadiums. It allows members of the media to keep up with the game through real-time stats and data by integrating with the actual game clock and stat software. It also allows wraps university branding around the channel and helps creates a professional and personalized image for each venue.

About Neyland Stadium: Neyland Stadium at the University of Tennessee is the third-largest college stadium in the country and seats 102,037. It was named for the man most responsible for the growth and development of Tennessee's proud football tradition. General Robert R. Neyland served as head coach from 1926-1952, with two interruptions for military service.
